Karla Henwood
Executive Producer - Sydney
Karla has been working in and around the advertising and music industry for nearly 15 years. Starting in dispatch at an advertising agency she worked her way into the creative department where she scribbled on blank paper for about 5 years. Having a musical background she naturally gravitated across to producing at a recording studio that specialized in music for post and advertising. That later lead her to work for legendary record company, and home to AC/DC, Albert Music were she managed their recording studios. With a Masters degree in Arts Management under her belt, the call came to submerge herself back into the world of music for advertising and Nylon were lucky enough to have her join their team.

Christina Tortorelli
Executive Producer - New York
A native Brooklynite raised on Long Island, Christina’s eclectic love of music stemmed from her flower child Mother and doo-wop singing Father, who filled the car with their musical stylings on family road trips. She surely knew Jim Morrison and Dion and the Belmonts before Barbie and Rainbow Brite, and this passion for music accelerated the moment she hit the central New York airwaves as a radio DJ in college. Her appreciation of all genres encouraged her to broadcast a wide variety of tunes and, years later, led her to a career in music production for commercials, as the broad spectrum of daily creative briefs enabled her to quench this musical A.D.D.
Christina joins Nylon Studios after spending 7 years producing spots at tonefarmer, with the latter 4 heading up FAB, New York's most dynamic social network of women in film and advertising.
When not producing music, you can find Christina under water with her synchronized swim team, The Brooklyn Peaches, or up in the air working on her collection of sky miles. She currently lives in Carroll Gardens with her animator husband, Mike, with whom she collaborates on his short films.

Halle Petro
Producer / Head of Marketing
Halle Petro sang before she could speak. Although her mouth sometimes gets her into trouble, in the past it allowed her to work as an off-broadway actor, assistant to a famed Hollywood film mogul and, as an ever aspiring musician, writing and producing records with her band The Jilt.
She makes her way to Nylon having escaped a career on Wall Street to tour with her band, playing everywhere from Vermont to California, including the famed Yoshi's in San Francisco. Nylon is a natural fit as it allows her to tackle music as a producer, and brand development as head of NY marketing.
