London born, Rob cut his teeth as a young recording engineer on the south coast of England. Training in audio post production with a focus on songwriting values, he uses a unique skill set to bring an emphasis on music and sonic caliber to commercial projects.
Studying at Platform One College of Music, the creatively renowned Bath Spa University, and finally, the New York School of Audio Engineering, Rob arrived in New York City in 2011 and assisted a number of Grammy Award winning mix engineers before finding a home at Nylon. He brings a mix and mastering engineer's point of view when working for TV, ensuring the audio is delivered to network specification, and also audibly transparent.
Rob joined the Nylon NY team in late 2012, following a vast audio restoration project for the David Hewitt Archive, commissioned by Wolfgang’s Vault.
